Alexandra Margo Sholler, known professionally as Alison Wonderland, is an Australian electronic dance music producer, DJ as well as a vocalist. Tolman is the youngest of three siblings. She also has two older brothers. The family relocated from England to Sugar Land Texas, when she was an infant. Prior to making the move to Sugar Land in Texas, she lived for five years in Oklahoma and West Texas. When she was 10years old, Fort Bend Community Theatre began giving acting classes. She attended Clements High School, graduating in 2000. Baylor University granted her a Bachelor in Fine Arts with an emphasis on theatre performance. After graduating college in 2007, she moved to Dallas where she founded Second Thought Theatre. Second Thought Theatre. After that, she relocated into Chicago in 2009 to study at The Second City Training Center for a course in acting. Tolman rose to fame during 2014 when Tolman made an appearance on FX's Fargo. Fargo is a movie starring experienced actors Billy Bob Thornton Martin Freeman Bob Odenkirk. The movie was influenced by the Coen brothers 1996 film of the exact same name. Tolman received praise for her performance in the role of Minnesota policeman Molly Solverson, with Vanity Fair writing the following "calmly and assuredly completely stole the film". Tolman was praised for her character. She was awarded the Critics' Choice Television Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Movie/Miniseries and received Best Actress nominations at the Emmy Awards and for the Golden Globes. Tolman's guest role in The Mindy Project, as romance novelist Abby Berman for two episodes, was announced the same. The actress was an actor in Michael Dougherty's thriller Krampus. Tolman was turned down for parts in the supporting roles including best friends wives, and mothers following her breakout role in Fargo. Tolman was seeking for a unique role. Tolman was a part of ABC's Downward Dog based off the Animal Media Group webseries. The series ended in the middle of a year. Tolman played a role in the ABC drama Emergence. It premiered on September 24, 2019 but ended the show after just one season which ended on May 21st, 2021, even though Tolman tweeted it was a success with "pretty decent" ratings. In addition, she was a guest on NBC's Good Girls. In 2021, she acted as Alma Filcott on the second season of Why Women Kill and Natalie Green in the book the Facts of Life, of Live in Front of a Studio Audience the third edition.
